Although this new take on style remains heavily inspired by traditional lines, it has been transformed so dramatically that it has become it's own entirely new design aesthetic. They typically reflect their unique look without being either too overtly trendy or too conservative, so my role as the designer is to help them bring out this style guru by providing options to reveal their sophistication and appreciation of classic designs in a new way, while and providing products that can be picked, mixed and matched with aplumb."
Designer Recommendations : Embracing a variety of materials, new finishes, and graceful yet modern lines can keep this look updated and fresh to suit for today's lifestyles. Simply throw in a new hip accent color(s) of choice on walls, furniture, fabrics and/or accessories. Also consider layering in plush, hyper-scaled patterns on antiques. If you prefer neutrals, use solid neutral linens that have a hint of metallic threading to create a new statement that works. Keep accessories to a minimum. Look for pieces with refined curves, modern finishes, luxurious fabrics and ultimately for ultra feminine style and high impact. Mix authentic Louis XIV or Swedish Gustavian antiques for exceptional appeal.
